| Koder house encapsulates
the concept of a heritage boutique hotel - six luxury suites
in the former home of one of Kerala's most illustrious CochinJewish
families, combining originality and style with personal service.
Each suite is 800 Sqft. and is individually
designed and decorated and the centuries old building boasts
20,000 square feet of spectacular teak floors, ceilings and
stairways. The unique quality of Koder House is the amalgamation
of the intimate atmosphere and quality service in a spectacular
and spacious building that has been restored to reflect its
celebrated past.
The three-storey building boasts
two large suites on each floor, each pair served
by a dedicated valet. Each suite has its own distinctive style
and decor and comprises a bedroom, desk, television, large
dressing/lounging area and luxurious bathroom with a spa bath
and separate shower cubicle. Four of the six suites
also have a balcony overlooking the Chinese fishing
nets, channel and park that forms the heart of Fort Kochi's
family-orientated community.
The ground floor houses a multi-cuisine
restaurant serving a wide-ranging menu, from traditional
Keralan curries to Penne Arabiatta, along with speciality
seafood and Chinese menus. Behind the restaurant is an outdoor
lounging area and swimming pool. A grand
teak double staircase leads to the first floor, where guests
will find a large lounge and the in-house 'Serena Spa', offering
a range of massages and treatments.
On the second floor there is a business
centre with broadband Internet, Library, Beer 'n'
Wine Lounge with a central balcony.

The
feel is both contemporary and classic; the atmosphere, relaxed.
The suites are on either side of the three storey structure.
Deluxe Suite
The deluxe suites offer a large bedroom, a state-of-the art
bathroom and a sitting room, all done up luxuriously. The
heritage theme is carefully maintained in the draperies, furnishings
and all the accessories. All suites overlook the park leading
to the beach. There are twin-bed and double-bed options.
Junior Suite
The Junior Suite is on the right hand side as you enter Koder
House. It is slightly smaller than the Deluxe suites, but
also offers an extremely luxurious bedroom and bathroom. The
bedroom, like in the other suites has an inviting four poster
bed, with a ultra-thick mattress and exquisite silk throw.

Restaurant
Menorah, the multicuisine restaurant is glittering tribute
to the hotel’s Jewish heritage. It has the rare distinction
of being the only restaurant in India to serve Jewish food.
